"EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO EXPERIENCE GOOD DESIGN" Kate St James, FDIA
The most important ingredient in any great design project, long before a line is drawn, is the one between its architect or designer and client.

Before choosing an architect or designer, you should do your due diligence. Ask for referrals from friends or acquaintances, read design magazines and look in your area for new construction projects. You can also access the referral service of their professional organisations' websites.

Using a trained professional can help you to obtain a superior project. Architects and designers who are full members of their professional body, have distinguished themselves in a number of ways.

To achieve full membership in the RAIA and DIA an architect or designer must demonstrate that they have the education and experience to perform professionally, and they must also comply with their organisations' code of ethics.
